Teamline spent 4 days at Div2, enjoying tremendous weather and a great atmosphere.

Bay Of Plenty Swimming made the best of a small pool complex and large outdoor green park.

Gazebos and tents were spread amongst the trees to give teams their own space outside the pool.

Div2 always seems to have the best atmosphere of all the national events, where friendship and fun play just as big a part of the event as pool competition.

Numbers were up by 100 swimmers on last year’s event and this put pressure on the facilities – thank goodness for the wonderful BOP weather

A HUGE thank you to the four wonderful ladies from Hillcrest for helping me out on day one when a queue for the event merchandise measured at least 25mtres and the eftpos machine went down!!! If it wasn’t for the Hillcrest angels I would have had a riot on my hands. Price we pay for having HOT merch!!

Congrats to all the swimmers and the medalists on making Div2 as the best national competition of the year!
